Hospice services

Medical science, for all of its modern miracles, cannot change the reality we must all face eventually: that our lives on earth must end.

Yet even when efforts at curing a terminally ill patient have ceased, there is still much we can do to help. At CHRISTUS St. John Hospice, we recognize that dignity and compassion are important in the care of terminally ill patients and their families.

Because both the patient and the caregiver may have special physical, emotional and spiritual needs during this time, a hospice team of nurses, home health aides, social workers, pastoral care specialists and volunteers offers its full support in the patient’s place of residence.
