Center for New Life

CHRISTUS St. John has a deep and continuing commitment to the health and well-being of mothers and babies. Our excellent physicians and our dedicated associates work together to continue this tradition of caring.

The Center for New Life at CHRISTUS St. John Hospital offers quality care for both mother and child. Our obstetrical services are provided in a warm, family-centered environment. The Center for New Life houses the following services:

• 19 private birthing suites.
  
• Two full operating suites for cesarean sections.
  
• 24-hour availability of anesthesia services provided by physicians.
  
• Public viewing in our newborn nursery.

Mothers are able to labor, deliver and recover in the same comfortable room. Each suite is fully equipped to support any birth option you and your physician desire. There is a special care nursery to provide neonatology support for the safety of you and your baby.

To support ongoing care for women, a wide range of education classes, including lactation consultation, are available.
